So, I’m sitting here with a brand new and effectively empty blog. I need to think a bit before I start posting proper entries. Most important decision is whether or not to import a few old entries from oldgreypoet.com in an effort to get started and see how all this works when it has stuff to play with.
Mostly, I need to think a bit.

How lovely, more places to chat! I can’t sum up the talent to make a poem out of it, like Doug, but I’m happy as punch that you have a new toy to skitch around in.

It will be interesting to see what you do with this and whether the software is better than what you are using now. I will say that the color/print scheme does nothing for me. With my poor eyesight, I can barely read the entries and comments. I need darker print and more contrast. I had to highlight everything in order to read it. Having to do that daily might get rather tiresome. – Tim

Heh! This is fun!
Doug: there will be a notify
Bex: keep on chatting!
Tim: I’m experimenting with the presentation just now and, before I finalize, I shall pay particular attention to visual access.

Yes, it’s nice, but I think we’ll need time to get used to it. I like the banner though, this window-picture, this is beautiful. But i’d also like to see your portrait too, that’s sort of an inseparable part of your blog. I enjoy reading your entries when you’re “watching” me, more or less saying, hey, funny enough, interesting enough? And I’m always replying, yes, yes…..

I’ll keep fiddling until we all like it, Brigitte!

Well, well! Glad to find you taking off into new country, John. I must agree that the page is a bit bland and needs some oomph as well as perhaps a bit larger and darker print. That aside, good work and much admiration for your willingness to plunge off into this fast moving medium. And I do love the little pictures, your portrait and the window picture. Very nice.

HOORAY! We can view the comments again! In agreement though, that it is a little light. Am sure you’ll work everything out. Good work, John.
