Not until next year

There’s an entirely different feel to the house when Graham’s home, and I said so.

“That’s a nice thing to say.”

“You’re welcome.”

“We shall have to see what we can do about this.”

“That’d be good. Not until next year, though.”

“No. Not until next year.”

Heh! There’s even a different feel to the blog when Graham’s home. (grin) Good morning, fellas!

How very agreeable! And I think there’s a song in there, as well.

“The requested URL /Patchwork/Jan/Jan13.htm was not found on this server.”

John — got this message when I followed the link to Mizbee’s Patchwork in your Blogroll.

I’ll fix it when I’ve had me lunch and siesta, Kate… meantime I’ve deleted the blogroll link.

There, fixed it! Thanks for the heads-up, Kate.

    And… thanks all!

I feel the same way John, when Rick is away. Life just isn’t the same. It isn’t as comfortable. There is a certain spirit to life that is not present when he is away. Rick says the same when he is away from home and I am certain Graham would echo that when he is away from home.

Ah yes, when the loved one’s home, that’s all we ever want and wish! Good ouck to you all your wishes, John! .-)

Oh my, what did I write? I meant of course: Good luck to all your wishes, John! :-)

I like the way Tim put it there, the ’spirit to life’ that’s missing. Benny’s off in training again this week and there’s no writerly way for me to put it, the house is empty, there’s no laughter, no banter, no jovial making of hot beverages for each other, no playful bickering, no one to trade chores with so I don’t have to do the washing up. But the reward when he gets back! Glorious celebration and non-stop yacking and a total concentration on appreciating each other and the happiness we bring to each other. You just get to appreciate each other even more when your back together, simple as that :)

It’s true…it’s all so true. Isn’t it? We all need our best beloveds. It isn’t home without them.
