There has to be a balance

I’ve not been out much this past couple of weeks but here and there I’ve noticed a hint of early bloom, just enough to lift the soul.  Today I saw a pink blossom tree in full bloom in a sheltered yard just over the way from Sainsbury’s.

Oh!  What a joy!  There will be an end to winter and a return to sunshine and flowers.

I brought my smile back to the house with my groceries, to be greeted by an angry Dolly, who’d just thrown up on the kitchen floor under her chair.

There has to be a balance, I suppose.
